Ok, I was half way through replacing both pads and disks on my Octavia II when I came a bit stuck

I basically need to know what size allen/torx I need to remove the calliper carrier to remove the disk.

I tried a 10mm and it was slightly small,

I'm so cheesed off because I had to put the old pads back on and leave it as it is.

Help Please!

Its not a torx, its a M14 spline aka triple square.

Assuming you need to remove it, you don't on all of them.

The Calliper carrier restricts the removal of the disk,

it's the sort of calliper carrier where the top meets the bottom, if that makes sense?

(There's no gaps/breaks in the carrier)

I best go out and get a Spline kit
