Can some one please tell me if I remove the cat from the exhaust I presume it will be a straight pipe from the turbo. Right here's my questions.

1 will it improve performance

2 will there be any problems with passing mot.

3 will any damage be caused to the turbo.

4 is there any thing I should do when I remove the cat, ie new remaps or any thing else.

And any other tips or suggestions would be great. Again I'm sorry I'm asking but do not have search on iPod and am away from pc.

1 Might get a slight increase when mapped for it

2 No mot issues

3 A de-cat on a standard car is ok

A de-cat on a car remapped to run a de-cat is also ok

A de-cat on a car remapped to run with the cat still on is bad, and what can cause problems

To get any gain you'd need to map it, even then, it'll only be a bit. If you are already running a map, I'd map it to suit.
