Do you need to remove the glove box to replace the light switch?

I seem to remember I did on mine. I think it was because of the design of the wiring loom plugs.

Removing that side of the dash isn't as big of a pain as the drivers side, but I did cut the annoying bits of the plug off of mine so I can remove that light easily in future if it decides to blow again :-)

I recently took my glove box to remove a old hands free kit, yer you do need to remove it to get to the bulb.

Quite straight forward to do. 5 torx bolts?

Thanks, yes seems to be a few bolts and it's out. I broke the switch!
