Door sill protection - fitting?

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted the Skoda accessory door sill covers - these ?

How do they fit - double-sided sticky tape, screws, rivets, or what?

I can see after a month of ownership that the sills are likely to take quite a bashing so these protectors seem a good idea.

I ordered for mine but they refunded the money as vrs come with vrs sill guards .I would have thought they would have an adhesive backing like replacement badges

You mean like these, clean surface and heat it up with a hairdryer ( car surface), the 2 sided tape sticks on better.

I've fitted a set, and they had double sided foam tape on the back. Important to clean the sills up with meths or similar to get a good bond. I bought some 'no nails' double sided tape which I'm sure would be just as good.

BTW - Scouts only come as standard with the front set.

Just what I wanted to know. Thanks for your help guys

The guide also indicates a temperature of between 20 and 40 degrees C :|

Are they standard on the vRS at the back?

I ask as I have none at the back, only the fronts.

They were on mine, but mine is not an FL :S
