HI ALL GOT A SMALL PROBLEM WITH MY 1300 FELICIA.WHEN STARTING NO PROBLEMS,WHEN DRIVING NO PROBLEMS,BUT WHEN SLOWING DOWN & IN TRAFFIC CAR IS REVVING FAST.IF I LIFT THE CLUTCH THIS WILL SLOW THE REVS DOWN TO NORMAL TICK OVER DO NOT HAVE REV COUNTER TO CHECK REVS.THIS IS A ® REG 97/98 HATCHBACK.ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS MUCH APPRECIATED THANKYOU

Sounds like you accelerator cable is sticking, can either get a new cable or just give the mechanism a good once over
