4 Year Service

Featured Replies

My VRS is due it's 4 year service (just coming up to 40k miles), and everyone keeps telling me 'it's a big service' but can anyone actually list what is supposed to be done in addition to the usual annual service.

I have seen some internet docs listing 4 year service but I've also been told this is now out of date. I know the cambelt is due but if I understand things correctly this isn't included in the cost of the 4 year service.

In the last 3 months I've had 312's fitted and bled the brakes, and also needed a new radiator so the coolant has been replaced as well.

I don't want to end up paying for stuff I've just paid for.

Four years is a 40k service

Fuel filter

Pollen filter

Air filter

Oil and filter

Inspection

2 years would be brake fluid but that is extra to the service.

Cheers for that.

I think this is still current for the 40k elements - if not can someone point out the error and I'll add a corrigendum...
