Looking for advice based on experiance to allow me to service my car at home. Oil and air filtrs will be off the shelf for the car. However advice re the following please and any other service items that may be necessary.

Grade and make of Oil (engine) (4.5ltr?)

Spark Plugs

Car is driven approx forty miles a day (20 miles each way to work) and is not in any way driven hard. Mixture of A and B roads. Occasionally a long run.

Was looking at Castrol GTX 10w 40 as on offer at Morrisions of all places for £12
