Looks like Ballamys in Shoreham, who changed from Saab to Skoda, might have done the right thing!

Note the new model based on the Subaru Impreza has been a poor seller, you cant even pass off a scoob with a quality badge now !!

It's always the way. GM/Ford/whoever threatening to close down a factory, and the country/states government giving massive tax consessions to keep it open. I'll be suprised if it happens, but Saab is fighting a losing battle against Volvo/Audi/Jag/BMW/Mercedes which is not helped by no investment, and poor use of what little they have been given.
