I bought a short alu antenna to replace the long 45 cm antenna on the roof? But unfortunately I can't remove this or is there a trick to do this.

The problem is that the antenna can be turned 45°.

Has anyone tried this?

Im sure there was a post on this very recently. Went something along the lines of you can loosen the antenna as much as it will go then give it a hard yank so it comes off. Ive never personally tried this though so do it at your own risk.

Do a search on the threads, it was pretty recent.
