Skoda Felicia reverse light

Featured Replies

Someone can tell me where is the Skoda Felicia reverse gear light switch????

Thanks for everithing!

On the bottom of the gearbox, towards the front. Be prepared to lose some gearbox oil if you unscrew it.

Haynes just says "screwed into the base of the transmission housing" .Not a lot of help . ( but ot does go on to say "if a fault developes first ensire that fuse has not blown -F21,which also does indicators, again from Haynes ).

Someone who's worked on this will probably be along to point you in the right direction ,if this is not enough .

I've checked the fuses in the fuses box under dashboard, they're good a at all. And so i think the problem come from switch, probably i I'll contact an electrician.

It should be very simple to test if you have a meter - just unplug the cable from the switch and test for continuity across the switch terminals with the car in and out of reverse, that'll tell you if the switch is working or not. You could also short the two terminals on the cable with a suitable bit of wire, if the lights don't come on then there's a problem somewhere else in the wiring.

^^ yeh good call.. the old hairpin across the terminals trick
