Car seat covers

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Well, I hope to be taking delivery of my new Fabia at the end of the month and as I hope to keep this car for 4 or 5 years, I want to look after it as best I can. I've paid for the autoglym protection package which includes an interior treatment, but I still have a grave concern...

I am regularly asked to give a lift to a person of dire personal hygiene, who secretes their bodily fluids / debris about my car.

So I want to buy some good quality, discrete and comfortable seat covers. The one's in Argos all look a bit naff. Anybody got any recommendations?

Cheers

I found some half decent ones in Halfords surprisingly. My seats are all black and so are the covers. They match pretty well and dont look half bad. they are machined to give a pretty tight fit in the right places. Fitting is a bit fiddly with elastic straps but these dont really show. I think they are their own brand and cost about 20 quid as I recall. Worth a look anyway.

You can get them for just the front seats or the whole car. I just have them in the front and they match the rear seats well. If I knew how to put pics on here I would show you....

Ahh man I know your pain... invited someone around to watch the footy once, he walked into the house and the first thing he did was spray his feet with deodrant cos they stunk. After he left, I had to wash the sofa covers, carpets, cusions :(

He wanted a lift home, but I managed to get out of it... no way was he getting in my car! I'd recommend a biohazzard suit draped over the seat :p
