its probaly the time of year [i hate it] but im feeling bored, and before i bought the fabia that would involve scouring [spelling?] the sales ads on my old forum and result in me buying either something for the suspension,swapping and trying different exhaust / intake's combo's ,tweaking the map or modifying the car in some needless way gaining 1 or 2 bhp just to keep me happy for a month or 2 ....now tho it doesnt quite feel the same driving the vrs as there is limited 'cheap' mods to keep me entertained....

anyway rant over [for now]

so far ive got the pd160/k&n panel,and shark remap so performance wise im happy and dont feel i need to improve this,as its fine for what i need, and weitec coilies so she handles ok

But wouldnt mind a uprated lower engine mount [dogbone bush] to help with smooth gear changes , which is best for everyday use, i take my boy to nursery everyday so needs to be useable and not silly vibration wise, and i fancy a different grille [see link] http://www.superskod...y/F1-FGMTG4.jpg but the only place i can find is superskoda ?? .... anyway if your still reading at this point you must also be bored so feel free to cheer me up and give some inspiration

how about colour coding your door handles?

My cars depressing me at the moment I've owned it a month it could be due to coming from a Clio 182 or it could be due to the vrs having a broken intercooler and the front brakes sticking on and it doing 100 miles to half a tank due to the two problems I just listed.

As someone mentioned the door handles... U You can get a nice set that need painting to match but they come with inbuilt lights... LED I think. As I believe, you can have them set to come on with the lights or with the signals. (Mutch better idea.

If you do this, another time of boredom could see you remove the wing indicators as they would be surplus, plus fairly individual, too

I don't like the wheels and I think you should colour code the grill surround (and handles). Have you done stuff like anti-roll bars and uprated front bushes? Strut brace? HID's? Sound system? Leather re-trim? Lamin-X front lights/front fogs? EGR Delete? Aero wiper blades?

having some uprated bushed fitted tommorow [+mot] not bothered about strut braces really dont make a noticeable difference on a family hatchback ... had hid kit on old car wasnt overally impressed really, sound system is a big no no nowadays i used to do 'big' systems when i was young but im a family man and passed all that now...[ i think]

I will have a look around for those handles on ebay.... think it was on the German version, not UK but don't let that put you off, they are usually good to deal with and often arrive quicker than UK stuff!

lol , weitec's , must admit the pics dont do them any justice, theyre a real good quality wheel for the price, with a proper 2'' dish not like some chavvy cheap 1's available, look better here -

What about doing a stealth ICE install, you don't need a sub to put the standard system in the shade. Just get a new head unit, replace the existing speakers and you'll have something that sounds loads better than before.
