Just thought I'd introduce myself. I have just bought a 2006 Fabia Vrs in silver and so far I'm loving it! Drove it about 60 miles home to Cambridge and was very impressed with the performance (big grins everytime I floored it in 3rd or 4th). Averaged 63 mpg too (according to the computer) so for me, a 34 year old father of one, it seems to have the perfect blend of performance/ economy I was looking for.

I'm planning on keeping it fairly standard so I'll leave all the modding and remapping to the rest of you It came with the 6 disc underseat changer and cruise control which was great on the long stretches of DC I had to contend with on the journey home.

Look forward to chatting to other Vrs owners, and maybe a few of you lesser mortals too!!
