Wing Mirror Price...

Featured Replies

Lost most of the drivers side wing mirror yesterday to an oncoming freelander that didn't stop.

Supply, paint and fit... £322.60p

I guess that's the downside of them being heated, electric and coloured.

Edit: and with an indicator too!

£322.60!! Sorry to hear that, it could happen to any of us :(

I 've had a few close calls myself with transit vans who think they can bully you off a narrow road.

Gutted for you matey. There's always ebay I suppose. You might get lucky.

emoticon-0106-crying.gif to hear your SM is a victim of hit and run.

Could try flee bay or the breakers, as one or two Monsters have sadly met an early demise :(

Sorry to hear your news. He/she must have been VERY close to catch the tiny Yeti mirrors.

Just think 2" closer and the bill would have been so much higher, so perhaps not as bad as it could have been!

Anyway I presume he must have left his mirror behind as well, so some comeback.

Glass and something else not included in the basic mirror price.

Total cost fitted and painted now £384. :o

Is that how Skoda earn the money on parts?

As they are quite good value vehicles when you buy them.

Same price as when some clown clipped my week old GTI's door mirror emoticon-0106-crying.gif

Car repaired this morning while I waited. 28 minutes, good Skoda customer care as usual.

Total = £384.85p

Paint + materials = £20

Thanks, that's useful to know. emoticon-0148-yes.gif

A pair of shiny mirror covers is cheaper than than the paint job.

Hope I never need to use that information though - I like the red ones.

I prefer the red too. With no other shiny bits the mirror covers could look a bit out of place.

Halfords-special look. ;)

Looks like it might be worth breaking my Yeti for spares :giggle:

No, hang on, they are selling secondhand over book price.....
