Coolant system light flashing. Now okay?

Featured Replies

Started my fabia up at college and on the way home the coolant level was flashing all the way.

I checked the level and its perfect, restarted it up and now its fine.

Could it just have been where its cold?

Not happy with the issues coming from the vrs atm -.-

Mine has done that before. Adding a BITof coolant stopped mine flashing.

Also my car is on a slight slope which May have made a difference.

Mine has done this the last 3 years when the weather is getting colder.

Just add a drop of coolant, and it shouldn´t do it again - until next year.

it could be something to do with one of the sensors on the coolant bottle - this seems to be a common fault on them. on certain years you can simply take the connector plug out an clean the connections on other years ( more likely the older models) the bottle needs replaced as far as i can remember, theres a few other posts about this if you search some of the other members can probably correct any of my mistakes but that the general jist of it lol
