Fabia Vrs Engine Mount

Featured Replies

Ive owned a fabia vrs for 5 month now and had a number of mods done, a month after buying the car i snapped the top engine mount and replaced it, once again today i have snapped the top engine mount i beleive this is a comon problem on the fabia vrs??? i just wondered if any knew of anywhere that did a uprated engine mount? or atleast anywhere that sells them cheaper than the bloody dealers as they are refusing to cover the part under warranty,

thanks chris.

That seems a bit ridiculous - im assuming this is the hydraulic one on the left hand side of the bay? they're like £90 each?

What mods have you done? thats crazy to have broke it already....

yer thats the one.

front mount intercooler, pd 160 air intake, k&n panel, full exhaust de-cat, remapped, i beleive thats it

if you bought the part from the deasler then it should come with a 24 month warranty?

although if they know the cars been modified that could throw the warranty out the window

no suspension mods????

Does the Seat Ibiza Cupra PD160 use uprated mounts?

nope no suspension mods, drilled and grooved front and rear discs with miltex pads. and im not 100% sure tbh i could find out from tps?

All mods are totally irrelevant to the engine mount, therefore the part should be under a warranty, who fitted the part?

If you have no joy at the Skoda dealer or whom ever fitted it, phone Skoda customer services up, also advise the dealer you will be doing this if they dont rectify the defective part.
