I am getting a 2009 built Elegance sedan, rather a newer wagon but there are no stocks in Australia so I will buy this and order a wagon. The head units puzzle me, in fact I am totally bewildered so I have some questions.

How can I identify what unit is in the car.

Does the Columbus interact with the car in ways the lower units do not or is it just a more capable entertainment unit?

If I was to buy a Columbus and retrofit the unit would have to come out of Europe. Where would I get the GPS software for the colonies (Australia).

Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.
