Hello all,

Had our Fabia vRS one year now and still loving it, despite the annual inspection turning up slightly warped front discs (which explains a couple of scary motorway moments recently) and a worn out ARB ball joint.

Summer saw me and SWMBO blatting across the continent to the Mala Fatra mountains around Tercova in Slovakia. At the time vRS Fabias were virtualy unheard of in Skodas heartlands. This gave rise to small crowds developing wherever we parked and an abundance of baffled victims disappearing rearwards in a light blue haze

I reckon that as a "GT" the Fabia does an excellent job, eating up Kms on the Autobahnen comfortably and economicaly (51mpg avg. out, 61 back), romping around in the mountains, even happy tackling the odd unexpected "Gravel Stage" to be found up there.

Yes, the dealer (Ashmore Green) had discs in stock at the time of the inspection, no ball joint though, expected next week, both on warranty thankfully.
