Having experienced instrument failure I followed advice which had been gleened from this site which was to remove fuse No 15 this seems to have solved the problem. but as the remedy was posted bacck in 2007 I wonder if by driving without fuse 15 has any long term detrimental affects. I would appreciate any advice offered.

By the way Skoda quoted me £639.61 + VAT plus 1 hours labour to replace the dash panel.....Regards Ken H
