I`m looking at getting a slightly larger front splitter to replace the exisitng one on my Facelift Fabia and I can only find ones for the pre-facelift version at the moment.

Does anyone know if there was a major change to the shape of the bumper for the facelift variant?

Not sure but it looks a bit different to me as if Skoda switched to a bumper closer to (identical to?) the VW Polo 6R shape. Am I right?

Just to clarify... Are you refering to the 10 plate on facelift? Not the new Fabia that came out in 07.

The new Fabia is a fairly different vehicle to the older model and even the newer facey, has quite a lot of differences so "Buyer, Beware"!

I presume we're talking about the Fabia II Pre Face-lift 2007-2010 and the facelift 2010- to present, I'm sure there is a diffrence as the car has diffrent head lights compared to the 2007-2010 model.

you might have to wait till the new fabia sport comes out to get body kit as accessory 2010 onwards

Sorry, yes I was referring to the facelift as per my car vs the older (pre-10 reg) version of the Fabia 2.

I checked with the dealership about the Sport and they havent been given a launch date yet. As far as I can see, the only part available for the front bumper at the moment is Skoda`s official Sport bodykit front bumper which i dont like that much!

Rear bumper and sideskirts are compatble with pre- and post-facelifts just not the fronts! Starting to wonder if VW Polo 6R parts will fit as the bumpers look almost identical in shape at the bottom.

the official bodykit front bumper part is for a pre 10 front bumper if you look a skoda auto .com you can see a post 2010 sport the bumper on that looks like same as vrs bumper for the new fabia facelift

I`m considering that but I wanted to get something a bit different so been looking around for some splitters etc to make it look a bit more unique.

Ha ha, found what I was looking for - ordered and asked to get done in a non-standard paint scheme so car should look good soon!
