loss of power /turbo

Featured Replies

Hi

- Anyone out there experienced loss of turbo in heavy rain?

Driving on motorway at around eighty tried to accelerate but none of that lovely oomph. stopped a short while after and checked that no pipe off.

After about half an hour got back in car and started and everything fine.

Anyone got an explanation?

Sorry no answer, but...

80mph in heavy rain trying to go faster :bandit:

Limp mode for some reason. Might have sticky vanes so tyring to accelerate caused overboost, and the car cut out the turbo for safety. :) Best to scan it a.s.a.p.

Thanks Devonutopia. I'm a new boy to vrs's and forums come to that! Can you suggest where I get it scanned?
