Splitter on order.

Featured Replies

After being told countless times that I should get a splitter

I have given in and arranged the ordering of one with Gareth_1.8T

who has a Seat parts stockist near to him for £25 ish.

My Fab is standard height (for now) so I reckon it shouldn't pose

too much of a problem with regard to scraping.

A quick question.

I want to buy some stainless self tapping screws for the fitting.

Does anybody know what length screws I will require.

Is 25mm too long?

I have to take my bumper off as the pattern foglamps I bought from

Jorily don't appear to be 100% watertight and are fogging up at the moment.

I want to apply my magic Tixophalte sealant round the bulb access to see if that

prevents the ingress. ( It can be scraped off and cleaned up with white spirit if needed...)

While the bumpers off, I may as well fit the splitter. I think I'll have more success if I can

do it off the car.

Needless to say. There'll be pics when it's done.

will look nice mate on your motor, I have no idea on your questions BUT!! get some picks up once on

Good man, glad you caved in mate ;) Look forward to seeing it on!

I just half tore mine off today on a kerb that was higher than I thought :( Need to go out with a torch and a screwdriver to try and sort it.

mine doesnt catch with coilovers on so should be fine at std height emoticon-0148-yes.gif

More than fine with std height.

It'll slow your car down Gary, too much extra weighta.

Good lad. It suits the car so well. I can't wait to get mine fitted on 6th December. :)

screws 15mm max.

Nice one Garry

I shall be collecting the order within the next couple of days, then we can organize our 'splitter fitting' meet.

Screws arrived today.

If the ICE install I'm doing in my mates Audi tomorrow goes well

there may be time to fit the splitter as well.
