Currently the airbag is not part of the MOT aside from a visual inspection for damage.

Need the fault codes read off, probably just a low battery fault or something random.

Seatbelt light on mine goes out after 10s or so. FWIW I regularly carry out low-speed manoevres that take minutes where belts are not required.

Got airbag light reset but no code was given but now light is bck on after around 500mile if i get the fault code will this indicate whats wrong.

Also are there any cheap fault readers out there that will read and clear the airbag.

VAG cars aren't known for this, but PSA cars frequently throw airbag lights and codes if you move the driver's seat, and the connectors under it gt disturbed.

VAG cars seem to have a load of problems with the occupancy sensors on seats. Raise your seat as high as possible, and have a look underneath, at least 2 mates with Audi's have found their under seat cables chaffed, and a quick bit of isolation tape solved the problem.
