hey all

just noticed after filling the car up with diesel today when i juumped in a started the car the wee icon for indicating a service popped up on the screen (spanner?) and it said 2200. can anyone explain what this means? is it as simple as a service is required in 2200 miles? i serviced my car on monday so it doesn need one so how do i go about resetting the icon or service interval or whatever it is referred as?

The service interval display can also be reset with the reset button as follows

• Press the reset button on the dash/speedo with the ignition switched off and and hold it down.

• Switch the ignition on, release the reset button. The text Service or SERVICE

NOW appears in the display.

• Turn the button for setting the clock to the right - as a result of this the display is

reset.

That might not work on the vRS, the Fabia is different to the Octavia, if its doesnt try holding it to the right and it should clear.

Look in your manual dude, tells you in there. Basically for the clock, just turn and hold the trip button left/right for hours/minutes.

Mine doesn't even show a service indication! Unless it has been programmed not to indicate?

This does work for the fabia vrs, did mine last week. Press hold trip reset with ignition off, keep finger depressed, turn ignition on, keep finger depressed for another 10 seconds or so and then release and it will dissapear.
