10 years since the passing of a Radio Great who championed Rock music like no other. Tommy Vance.

Listened to an tribute show to The Friday Rock show which was on religiously every friday night on Radio 1 from 1978 - 1993.

Halcyon days

Have a couple of classic gigs lined up for September.

King Crimson at the Lowry.

Dave Gilmour at the Royal Albert Hall.

Rock on!

Have you ever been to see the Australian Pink Floyd Show? They are an excellent tribute band and I would highly recommend them. Been to see them twice and going again in a few weeks time.

They're currently touring the country.

JRJG You have excellent taste in music!

Watched APFS at the Victoria hall in the early nineties and then again in 2012. Great show and impressed how they have developed over the years.

Big fan of Floyd and seen them many times since 77. This will be the first time I've seen Gilmour solo as tickets usually go to quick!

Have seen Waters on every tour he has done since leaving the band. Regular subscriber to Brain Damage magazine as its a good way of keeping up to date.

Planet Rock is a blooming great radio station on DAB digital. Makes every journey in the Octi a rock fest

-----------until you listen to it all day, every day, they do stick to a playlist which is what Radio Caroline never did.

Very sad to read this......  RIP Ian Kilmister

Lucky enough to have seen them from the beginning from his home town of Stoke.

True Rock Legend who lived up to it in every respect.

Today I will be mainly playing Motorhead at Vol 11.

Only Fast Eddie remains from the classic line up.
