Just about to do the deal.

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just about to order a Candy White CR DGS Vrs estate. With the following spec:

- Front & rear parking sensors;

- Auto dimming rear view mirror;

- Sat Nav;

- Curtain Air bags;

- Heated front seats;

- MDI;

- Sunset Glass;

- Telephone Prep, Bluetooth;

- Variable boot;

- Leather;

- Xenon’s.

The car is coming from Rainworth, who again (we bought a 55 Fabia Vrs from them) are able to beat anyone else for price.

One last minute question, which despite trawling the forms I can't seem to find an answer to....

Do the parking sensors display on the Columbus, if so what does the display look like?

Before you sign on the dotted line, have you tried Chris @ Gordon Lamb, Chesterfield. Rainworth couldnt even touch the deal he offered me and my brother when we ordered our cars!

Don't forget the spare wheel; I think they are still optional as it was on mine when I ordered it.

get the TSI :giggle:

Yes.

The picture is of the VW RNS510 which is the same unit as the Columbus.

Best regards

ps. My new Superb is sat at Rainworth Skoda awaiting DVLA paperwork.

+1. Fabulous spec, but get the other engine! Cheaper, faster & less likely to go wrong!

We looked at the petrol, but we intend to keep it for 10 years and fuel prices are only going to go one way.

The OTR price we have only £700 more expensive.

Fair play! Each to their own! Enjoy your car.

I'm extremely happy with mine! Very similar spec other than engine.

I've had two R32 IV Golfs in the past..... so I'm a little scarred when it comes to fuel bills!

Fabulous sounding car the R32. Loved my Mk5 GTI DSG, but reliability was an issue.

Also had fuel bill issues before with a 4 litre Chimaera! Another car that sounded fantastic!

Actually, the TSI is better than you think. I average about 32, but have a heavy right foot, and we're in town a lot. It's easy enough to get over 40 on a run!
