As my mates just got a cupra pd160 thought I'd use his reg and ring seat to see how much various bits are, all these prices are plus VAT!

Seat sport fmic- 331.05

Pd 160 intake- 59.40 and 15.82

Brackets for ic- 7.66 and 6.81

That makes the intercooler now very expensive indeed!!

How?! It's bigger and still cheaper than the forge one. Who did you ring, because my local dealer quoted me higher prices than I paid. Contact the bloke on seat cupra net in ire, he's cheapest

But yeah the more SEAT sell of one item the price goes up when its obvious to them its being fitted to other vehicles.

Ye I know its bigger and cheaper than the forge one but still for what u get its expensive, on my old glanza I paid 550 for a blitz intercooler kit which was 600x300 ish and came with 3 times the amount of boost pipes bracketry and hoses!!

I doubt they will be much cheaper. I think you get about 6-7£ off when buying pd160 air intake kit from seat at trade price, so irritating. If anyone is selling one message me

It is mate in the grand scheme of things that's expensive, fine if it was a mass of complex pipe work but its not!!

If you buy the forge pipework kit and seat cooler it would come to about the same price as just buying the whole forge kit!

But you can only really compare it to what else is on offer. As above, simlar price to forge FMIC, but it's bigger. Why would you pay for the smaller one?! I still think it's a good deal overall.
