I was changing the air filter the other day and once the cover and trunking was off I could see the ill fitting and lose trunking was vibrating and chaffing its way through a couple of pipes.

I've put some foam tape behind them and

and on the trunking itself were its rubbing. You'll notice the plastic trunking inside has vibed the plastic flatish so it doesn't stay in place on the air box.

With the trunking vibrating I've made a clamp to keep the trunking in place and to stop the vibes.

You may well want to check yours when change your air filter if the trunking is lose.

That's the snorkel, they are only good for a couple of pulls off and on, another pipe so well designed that wears through is the egr one, so if you get the eml on and the car sounds and drives fine, always check that pipe before spending out, if it isn't that, it's normally a coolant temp sensor, again so cheap it's worth replacing even if it doesn't fix it.
