As per the title, I need a new PAS angle sensor for a 2000 (W Reg) Fabia at a sensible price .

Does anyone know of a less expensive source apart from main dealer prices please? I live in Twickenham (Just west of London). I've seen the eBay ones for LH drive cars for £50, but don't fancy extending the loom.

I've had the car for a week and it has already cost me £300 but I can't drive it without fixing this one.

Any help really appreciated.

Expensive aren't they?! :( It is OK to drive the car with that sensor broken - good arm exercise as it just kills the power steering. This doesn't make it unsafe to drive, just a little tougher to steer when manouvering. On the move, it is not easy to tell the difference between PAS being on or off. (apart from the dash light )
