STEEL WHEELS for SCOUT

Featured Replies

What are Skoda playing at. :( I ordered some 16 inch wheels for my Scout more than 1 month ago and now I'm told that they won't have any until 15th December.

I already have tyres from my last Octy so does anyone know a dealer with a stock of these. I would prefer the genuine article.

Cheers.

Scrappy??

Some more info and more than a little bit confused. The part No. I have been given is 8PO 060102703C. I've just been told that these are specific steel wheels for winter tyres and are actually 16x 6.0J. I was pretty sure that my full size spare option, which is a 16inch steel wheel is 16x 6.5J which I am sure would be OK for my 205-55-R16 tyres. So I think that Skoda may have run out of the above part No. item but could have plenty of 6.5Js.

why buy new? there has to be a bunch of wheels that would be just fine on ebay for much less £ than I would think the dealer will charge you for 4 x new steels?

So now I am even more confused. I have seen on e-bay a dealer in Mansfield advertising some wheels with a Part No. IK0601027A03C. I've looked at the steel spare in my boot and this has a white sticker with the no. IZ0601011A. By the way, why does this have the yellow warning sticker speed restriction on it when it's a full size spare???

Can anyone tell me what size that full size spare is and if it would be OK to put my 205/55/R16 Michelin Alpins on similar rims, with the current wheel nuts, rather than waiting for the 6.0J x16 that are on back order.

Thanks.

I bought a set of genuine audi alloys for my winter tyres.... 5x112 ET43 7jx16. Trial fit went well, so just need to wait on the tyres arriving now. ;-)

Tyres on those rims are the same size as you've got, as are the ones I'll be getting fitted !

my spare is 205/55r16 full size spare

the sticker and speed restriction is all to do with health and saftey asfik
