Fabia VRS dashboard lights ?

Featured Replies

Hello, I'm looking at buying a Fabia VRS but can't find any pictures of the dashboard lights at night time to see what they look like illuminated.

I liked my old ibiza because they were all red and my current polo because they're blue but I have a feeling the fabia's might seem a bit boring?

can someone please show me a pic of the dash at night so I can see if I like it?

many thanks, Si

i don't have any pics but they are boring tbh vey boring compared to the blue lights of a polo.

Dimmed right down ^^

Not a vRS, so the needles are green, not red, but hopefully you get the gist till someone else is along.

Having a Polo now, I will say the blue looks nice, and the way they fade out slowly when turned off is nicer than the apprupt off-ness of the Fabia, but there's nothing wrong with them on the Fabia IMO. Easier on the eye without having to dim them right down.

awe, that's not what I was wanting to hear. I love the outside but all my time will be inside not seeing the outside, spending all this money for others to enjoy LOL ohwell

Thanks for the pics, they look good, quite sharp, I thought they would look all dull but they're no polo lights that's for sure.

i wouldn't let the dash lights put you off, its whats under the bonnet that counts!

Thanks for the video. They look better than I thought they would, the red and green looks quite smart, certainly better than they look during the day.

It's what's under the bonnet is the main reason I want the VRS, anything with a PD130 would do me fine!

Now I have the dilemma of colour choice, there's a black one and a red one I'm looking at. decisions, decisions.

si

No worries.

Red! But I'm not biased! Stays clean looking for longer though, but doesn't look as good just after a good polish.

Black!

looks the best when just cleaned

but is a nightmare to keep clean lol

red also fades if you don't look after them.

Well... that was no help lol :p All them points are exactly what I've been considering, black does look amazing after a polish, but red does look good in general. I think I may just have to make decision when I see the cars. Although the red one has half the amount of miles

How bad is the fading, I thought that VAG fixed all they're red paint, so that it didn't fade any more, that's what I thought anyways:(

thanks, Si

Check those out - apart from the door handles and wing mirrors (plastic) there isn't any fading. (All panels faded evenly if it has faded!) I've had it since March, so I dunno how well cared for it was before. Don't forget thats a 10 y/o car too, so older than any vRS. Theres a P reg VW over the road from me in red which looks ok. Rusty, but not faded.

Yeh, that does look really good, there's a nice shine on it but doesn't look likes its faded at all. My Dad's old '88 mk2 Golf was went all different shades of red, scared everyone in the family off red cars.

I think I might go red, already got a black altea in the the drive, need a bit of colour I think:p

cheers, Si
