Fabia 1.2 tsi DSG - New ECU?

Featured Replies

Anyone know if there is a new ECU on the way for fabia combi 1.2 TSI DSG? like they have got in the 1.2 tsi Yeti? (think that ecu fixed some ratteling in the stearing wheel)..

Have heard that this car is difficoult to start driving without spinning off too fast :( perhaps a new ECU would fix that?

I get my new car in week 15

I think my car has the new ECU or ECU map.

It doesnt take off as fast as the test car, seems to have a smoother/slower roll for about a second before flying off.

I dont like it to be honest, i like a snappy car :(

Is that not turbo lag

There is no new map coming, its down to the Yeti being a bit heavier and the gear ratios being changed. Also depends on what tyres the car had on it. My car has got Falkens on it and they are bloody awful. :(

I don't think so, I think the power is limited in 1st gear. I notice it on the manual car too, once into 2nd, it's completely different.
