Back seat jamed

Featured Replies

Its went to far back when i put it back up after folding them down and its now jamed, any pointers????

Do you mean the upright bit? Have both sides jammed? If so, look at the side at the bottom near the door. The backs (both sides) sit in a round support with a hole in the top. Look down the hole and you'll see a slot and a locking piece which covers part of the back hinge pin. Put a large screwdriver in the slot and push sideways. It will unlock the pin and you should then be able to pull the back upwards and free it. HTH

Presuming you mean the upper folding part of the rear seat, as far as I can tell looking at mine, it's impossible for it to go "too far back". I'd suggest that it's possibly the release mechanism that's broken, since that's happened to someone else here about a month or so ago - but I don't recall whether there was a solution. If may be stiffer if you've trapped the seat belt in the process - try pulling carefully.
