Inverted Yeti

Featured Replies

We had our first snow in the North East overnight and the lunchtime News was full of it.

The bulletin featured a lingering close up shot of a car on its roof at the roadside. Guess what it was ! A Silver Metallic YETI !

Considering how rare they still are round here the odds on that are slim to say the least. By way of consolation to the owner , it looked none the worse so lets hope gently putting it right way up will not come with a hefty repair bill.

4x4's are good but when they do come unstuck the weight and high centre of gravity can have dire consequences.

If by chance the owner reads this and feels up to responding it would be an interesting read.

Oops, poor ****** :S

hope you're not mistaking it for the upturned Fiat Panda I saw on the news!

Scuse me. Wassa IBMA. Ffs?

Doh?

Like evan only upturned car I saw on news reps was a little silver Panda - and not the 4wd variety. Mind you it did have similar alloys to a Yeti. In the same clip was a badly bashed Zafira.

No, but I did see an L200 on its side - I bet the driver was giving it all "Snow? Ice? I've got 4WD" moments before. Yeah, 4WD and SUMMER ROAD TYRES!!! :giggle:

And thanx.

Don't do it again! And this driver will be striving not to emulate your feat, and will be avoiding joining your exclusive association, thanks.
