Gear linkage / cable rattle

i have been searching for a remedy to my low speed rattle for a while.

One noise that sounds similar is the noise from gear stick if i tap it. Is it possible that the linkage or cable is touching the chassis somewhere?

I have tried lubricating the pivots under the gear gaitor with lashings of whits lithium based grease. It is better but still there

It can't be suspension ball joint, drop link track rod and it only happens when road surface is slightly rough and NOT speed bumps pulling on drive etc

Just a theory............
