huge apologies, I've just blown a fuse on the wipers as they must have changed it, thanks to this forum it's all sorted now, when I opened the fuse box theres an awful lot of empty spaces!! Is this normal?

There will be spaces since not all are used and spaces where that particular option isn't fitted.
