Featured Replies

Another bit of advise please. Just bought a whiteline anti lift kit for my 57 plate octy petrol vrs hatch, and i now want a rear anti roll bar, preferably whiteline, can someone tell me which one to go for and a part no would also be fantastic. Phil

Whats adjustable?

The bar has three mounting holes for the upper droplink bolt. So you can choose three levels of roll stiffness. Rearmost hole is the softest. Be wary of the stiffest setting, I found it made the car prone to rather snappy oversteer. Mine is on the centre hole ('medium').

Ah Yes fully understand just been on whitelines site as well, am i right in understanding your explanation of the settings, the hole closest to the bar gives the hardest setting and the hole furthest away from the bar gives the softest settings? Also many thanks for your quick reply Phil.

definitely go for adjustable, then if you have the option to tailor the handling. Your correct about the settings.

I used to live only 92miles from the ring, and whilst there i tried my Front and rear ARB settings on all the possible settings.

Front stiff, rear stiff

Front stiff, rear soft

front soft rear stiff

the latter was by far the best setting, however i did fancy getting an even stiffer rear bar.

Interesting. My Neuspeed 25mm bar has only two settings & will be fitted on Tuesday :) Should I go for the stiffer of the two? (As above, is it the one closest to the bar?)

Cheers.

hmm thinking I might go for one of these this week, been putting it off for too long! where is cheapest to get one?

it will be the one closest to the bend for the stiffest settings. the best bet IMO is to start on the soft for the minute, especially with the weather as it is right now. then come spring turn it to the stiffest setting

Thanks. I presume it will still be stiffer than standard on the soft setting?

I have the Eibach ARB and the difference on the softest setting is noticeably stiffer.

oh yeah
