Octavia Scout Heated Seats

Featured Replies

I am looking for a pre FL Scout and have not found one with heated seats yet. Can somone confirm they did them? I do not want leather by the way.

Thanks

I think you had to have the Alcantara to have the heated seats.

There are a few recent threads regarding the way in which the heated seat function can be ordered independently to the alcantara option which meant some were expecting them fitted to their new Scouts but it wasn't. This is related to the facelift though.

I too regularly scout ( :giggle: ) for used pre facelift Scouts and its very rare to find any with optional extra's.

I managed to get one with xenon’s but gave up looking for the MFSW and Maxidot.

Heated seats are still relatively rare in the UK, especially on low volume models, such as the Scout.

Good luck!

It was an additional option.

Do you know if the were they available as a stand alone option i.e without the alcantara / leather seats?

In the Netherlands they were available as stand alone options. It is also possible to build them in afterwards.

Ok, i can't understand why there arn't more with them, as far asi can tell the scout was 2007 onwards which is a time since heated seats were well established as an option on VAG cars without leather. My 2000 Golf had them with cloth and every VAG car i hjave had since except my octy. But he Altea needs replacing and the wife will not entertain a car without heated seats and i want a scout.

Is it hard to fit them, i tried once on a mates golf and it failed.

Yes they were available. I had a 2007 Elegance with cloth seats. The heated seats I had were a factory option.
