MFD3 problems - can't boot successfully

Hi there

Seem to be having a problem with my MFD3 / RNS 510

Was working fine up until this morning, went into Morrisons, came back to the car, but when I turned the car back on, the MFD3 would no longer boot.

Instead it displays the Skoda "splash" screen, shows a black screen for approx 20 seconds, then goes back to the splash screen - and repeats the process

I tried dis-connecting the unit from the car for about an hour or so, but no difference.

I thought about trying to update the firmware on the unit to see what happpens, but I've looked at some of the stickers - which seem to have been tampered with, which from what I've read means that I'd brick the unit if I was to try this

Any thoughts?

Looking like I'll have to buy another at the min :'(
