Washers not working

Featured Replies

This morning my windscreen washers stopped working. The wipers are fine, but no fluid comes out from the nozzles. Thought it may have just been down to no screenwash, but the reservoir is full, and I cannot hear the washer pump "whirring" so im guessing it's a fuse that's gone. The manual isn't all that useful on saying which fuse is which. (car is a 2006 vrs if that makes any difference)

So what fuse is it? Thanks!

Took fuse 15 out, it didn't look too good, so put it back in (will get a replacement on the way home) and the washers now work.

Ta for that link!

thanks to all of you i can drive in the winter (fuse 15) after i already changed the wiper motor ,all the relays(why are they so hard to get to?)been tearing my hair out for three days thanks a million you guys ,so glad isigned up.

If your washer system has been frozen you will probably find various leaks after you thaw it out, they will be on the pipework where the connectors have blown off, maybe in 3 places.

You must fill the system with a good solution of windscreen washer fluid to prevent freezing up.
