Bolero display of time and temperature

Featured Replies

The Octy accessories catalogue says the Bolero can display time and outdoor temperature, yet I can't find any reference to this in the owner's manuals - can it be set up to show time and temp?

Congratulations

Join the long list of people who have discovered that, even though Skoda make good cars,

they are rubbish at publishing correctly their sales literature.

When will they ever learn.

The old stream units could but do not think the Bolero can. I have mine both displayed on the my maxidot screen.

Shame if it can't. It's more useful for passengers, easier for them to see than the maxidot display. The FL has lost out in this, as it has with the climatronic temp display - now we've got the crappy little lit numbers round the dials rather than the lcd ones of the pre FL. And also goes from 18 to 26 in whole degrees rather than 16 to 29.5 in halfs!

I prefer the pre FL climatronic system, the LCD dials were much easier to read, now you are greeted by myriad of little green lights all over the shop, the old system is much clearer and simpler to use. It takes much longer to look down and see what it is all set at, the old system needed the quickest of glances.

I also had 5 heated seat settings, now I have three, I used to set it on 2 all the time in the cold - perfect. On my Superb's system I find 1 is too cool and 2 is too hot emoticon-0149-no.gif
