sill protectors

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of spending most of my second £50 gift voucher on a set of black sill protectors.

I haven't had a look at them yet. Does anyone know if they are easy to fit? (Hatchback model)

Sticky backed.

Just get SWMBO to do it for you.

Very easy to fit - as mentioned they are sticky backed and although the instructions are a bit vague they are pretty self explanatory. Marked the positions with a pencil before peeling of the sticky cover because the sticky is really sticky so need to get it right first time. They look quite smart too.

As the other posters - very easy. I would clean the paintwork with meths or similar and wait for a warm day (!!!) to fit them to get a good adhesion.

Or use a heat gun/hair dryer.. :D
