do the seat heaters have seperate fuses

i have just noticed that the drivers side one

does not heat up but the passenger side

one gets lovely and warm

any help welcome

Not sure what you mean - the underlined text in my response indicated a clicky link to the best site for the fuse panel layout - but perhaps what you need is a wiring diagram and I don't know of an accessible one of those...

I presume you've checked that the wiring to the seat hasn't disconnected underneath?

There's one in the handbook - though it's a reversed layout for LHD cars. I find the www.fabia-vrs.com one by typing < Fabia fuses > into the normal Google search box.

Next thing to try would be extracting the switch and checking that's working fine...
