Transmission Control Module Relay - Supply Voltage (B+) Malfunction Low Battery or Bad Ground

or Supply Voltage (B+)

or Supply Voltage B+

What does this mean, i tried a while ago and it was still charging, but the battery won't take a charge, it'll hold one when i charge it, it just won't get one off the alternator even though i put a meter across it and got a reading of 13.64, at the battery.... The battery is not old, year most!! Happened when overtaking one day, beep and battery light came on, since then, no charge :(

Also code 301 :(

ABS Return-flow Pump (V39)

or ABS Return Flow Pump (V39)

What is the return flow pump??

And on the wee vagcom fault code reader i've got, what is (2, A/T), 1 being engine, 3, SRS and 4, ABS

Cheers

Alternator sense wire will be broken, or alternator faulty. when no charge occurs, you get random +B low codes. ABS return flow pump, is simply the motor on top of the ABS unit. Used to pressure modulate the ABS valves.

Is the sense wire the one that attaches to the bottom starter motor bolt??

The pump, just electric or is it part of the fluid assembly, ie, bleed brakes etc after change??

Cheers

Sense wire goes from alternator (thin blue wire) to a plug on the front of the gearbox, from there it goes to the dash panel via voltage control module. Always break at the plug near the gearbox.

ABS motor is electric and drives a hydraulic block modulator.

Cheers MoggyTech, don't suppose you or anyone has a pic of this sense wire plug at the gearbox, very tight down the front of the engine and getting under in this weather I don't fancy, having a stone guard under it too... It's a 1.4 16v if that makes a difference as I don't think I mentioned this before!!

Really needing my car and can't afford garage costs at mo as holiday coming up...

Cheers
