Bolero problems..............

Featured Replies

I understand this topic will be more at home on the 'Ice' forum but having already posted there for a week with no real joy I thought I would put a link on here as the problem relates to the install of a Bolero in a MKII pre-FL Octy -

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated at this point..............

Anyone?

Is it being told you've got your headlights on or something? I can't remember how mine dims whether it's off the light sensor or headlights.

Having said that i don't think i've noticed it dimming when i go through tunnels (xenons come on in long tunnels). It's as dim as you say in night mode but not in day mode it's very clear / bright. I'm not sure mate :-(

Thanks for the reply, someone in a previous post mentioned an ambient light sensor but I think that is only on the Superb model. It could be linked the sun load sensor for the climate control!?

I've just been out in it and the display looks fine at night, so it seems it is permanently in 'night mode'. I'm at the stage where I think it has to be related to the headlights, if you read the topic on the link, when I managed to getting it working correctly (by fluke), it would dim the display if I turned the lights on, so its got to be something to do with that. When I had the new gateway coded by vRSCarl he activated coming home/leaving lights, I wonder if this has caused a problem?? :S
