Octavia 2 Facelift - separate headlight adjustments how?

Featured Replies

Hey friends,

I have an issue with my darling. Yesterday i replaced the headlights bulbs with Osram NightBreaker Plus, the old were philips from the factory and they was very bad bulbs... like a candle.. but this is not the topic.

So now i saw a problem with the left headlight. It is higher than the right one. So my problem is that i was counting every rotation of the plastic studs and i got it back as it was before the replacement... So the headlight is been like now, but i saw it now.

How can i got it little bit down, because it is too bad now. I want to do it myself if it is possible. I'm with magnifiers in the headlamps and electric engine to make both of them up or down.

Can you show me where is the adjustment studs or what it is... to do the trick, because i can't sleep after i saw the problem...

If anybody can post an image or to explain me where is the stud and how to adjust it... it will be very nice.

Thanks in advance!

Kindly Regards

Have no picture but agaist a wall turn lights on. Using a number 6 alan key, either adjustment (2) one on top one bottom ( not the one near the max bulb), you can just turn either clockwise or counter clockwise to see if it lowers or goes higher. I did his at night, no problem.

found this picture as you can see one screw for adjustment

Yes either that one or the one on top. Do this at night, and do 1/4 or small turns until both lines are the same level.

Stand in front of one headlight to block the light, then remove yourself to the side to see if they are at the same level (if you have too).
