Fuel flap wont open

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 55 plate Superb that has recently developed some electrical gremlins. I've taken it to a garage who say the module that controls the central locking, etc needs replacing. So he's took it out to stop it draining the battery. I no longer have central locking, which doesnt bother me but the electric fuel flap button no longer opens the flap.

Does anyone know if there is some kind of over ride system in place to open the flap as I'm running out of diesel fast!

Thanks in advance for your help

I believe you need to rermove the side trim in the boot and you will see some sort of release lever to open the flap manually.

are you sure its not just frozen up as mine as been a

bugger in this recent weather.(i thought they released manually)

If the CCM has been removed you will lose the electrical flap release. You can release the flap manually from inside the boot behind the trim.
