Hi there, looking to upgrade my HU to a budget double din unit, fit better front door speakers and get some kind of sub.

I was looking at the apline SWE-1000

I'm not after mega bass, just something a bit more than door speakers, it's a bonus that I could keep my boot space by putting it under the passenger seat, presuming it'll fit there.

Any thoughts?

The Alpine sub does not fit under the seats in a Fabia vRS (been there, tried that).

The Blaupunkt equivalent does fit under the seats though and made a significant improvement, even when just connected to the standard head unit.
