Got a strange one here. I can lock my car with the remote key fob but not open it. When the battery went before it wouldn't work either way but this one is new to me.

Could it be the cold frost I experienced when I stayed overnight in Bristol? (minus 7!)

Sounds to me more like the fob's got out of sync with the central locking somehow. Do you have a spare, and does that work? If so, there ought to be something in the manual about reprogramming extra keys that you could follow to get the iffy one working again...

Might be a dodgy unlock button as well, I suppose - spare key should eliminate that too!

It has now started working!

strange

Same thing happened to me over Christmas. Took out the old fob battery, left it for five minutes and replaced with a fresh battery.

Works fine now.
