Reluctant seatbelt

Featured Replies

The front drivers' side seatbelt on my VRS is really reluctant to return to it's position when I take it off. It's not seized as I can get it to move, but it's just really really slow and normally ends up either round the seat height adjustment or the rear window winder if I get out before it's returned to its resting position (or worse - is left hanging out the door!)

Any idea on a fix? Can't see how to get to the mechanism in the door pillar to give it a squirt of something.

Pull the belt all the way out and give the whole belt a wipe down with a baby wipe, then make sure you dry it fully before it reels back in.

ive just wiped it down and still returning slowly, is it a spring that it uses?
